Job Role: Wind Site Engineer
Department: Operations & Maintenance Experience Required: 3 to 7 Years Qualification: BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Key Requirement
Candidates should be capable of handling Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) Operations & Maintenance independently, without close supervision. This role demands strong technical know-how and the ability to manage on-site challenges efficiently.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Wind Site Engineer at JSW Energy, you will be responsible for:
- Performing scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance of wind turbines
- Conducting electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, SCADA monitoring, and resolving turbine performance issues
- Managing tools, spares, inventory, and calibrated equipment to ensure maintenance readiness
- Supporting software updates, retrofits, and ensuring safety and IMS (ISO/EHS) compliance
- Analyzing performance data, preparing MIS/SAP reports, and supporting audits and continuous improvement initiatives
Job Locations
JSW Energy is hiring for the Wind Site Engineer position across the following locations:
- Dharapuram, Tamil Nadu – GE turbine experience mandatory
- Sandur, Karnataka – GE turbine experience mandatory
- Kudligi, Karnataka – SANY 4MW turbine experience preferred
Candidates with prior hands-on experience on GE or SANY turbine models will be given preference based on the specific site requirement.
