Key Responsibilities
The role covers three major functional areas critical to construction project execution:
1. Bill Preparation
- Preparing and reviewing client and subcontractor bills based on site work progress
- Preparing and reconciling monthly running bills, final bills, and measurement books
- Coordinating with site engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure billing accuracy
2. Cost Management & Estimation
- Preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and pricing for change orders
- Developing and managing project budgets in line with scope and client expectations
- Evaluating and negotiating variations and change orders with contractors and clients
- Providing input for contract cost forecasts and financial planning
3. Measurement & Valuation
- Measuring quantities from client design drawings
- Confirming quantities for progress claims and invoice verification
- Maintaining accurate field measurement notes, including calculations and assumptions
- Coordinating and scheduling measurement activities with construction teams
