Qualifications & Experience Required
To be eligible for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- B.E./B.Tech degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering
- Minimum 15 years of overall professional experience
- At least 4 years of experience specifically in Solar EPC projects
- Minimum 2 years of team management experience
Key Responsibilities
As DGM – Field Quality Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring project quality across large-scale solar installations. Core responsibilities include:
- Ensuring adherence to client quality requirements across all project stages
- Preparing and implementing Field Quality Plans (FQP), SOPs, checklists, and quality documentation
- Conducting site inspections and obtaining stage-wise quality clearances
- Planning and deploying quality resources at the project site
- Driving root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions for quality issues
- Coordinating with clients, internal stakeholders, subcontractors, vendors, and Third-Party Agencies (TPAs)
- Implementing quality tools and continuous improvement initiatives at site
Required Skills
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Strong technical knowledge of Solar EPC projects and field quality processes
- ISO 9001 Certified Auditor credential
- Proven experience in quality audits, inspections, and documentation
- Expertise in root cause analysis and corrective action planning
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
- Excellent planning, coordination, and team leadership abilities
