About JSW Energy & This Mega Project
JSW Energy Limited is one of India's leading private-sector power producers and a flagship company of the $23 Billion JSW Group. The company has recently commenced construction of a state-of-the-art 1,600 MW (2×800 MW) ultra supercritical thermal power plant in Salboni, West Bengal — a greenfield project of national significance.
To staff this ambitious project, JSW Energy is conducting a Walk-In Drive targeting seasoned engineering professionals with hands-on experience in thermal power plant construction and erection works.
Open Positions — Who Can Apply?
The following functional areas are open for recruitment:
- Engineering— Core design and technical roles
- Project Management Group (PMG)— Planning, scheduling, execution oversight
- Civil Construction— Structural and civil works at plant site
- Mechanical Erection— Equipment installation and commissioning
- Electrical Erection— HT/LT electrical systems erection
- E&I Erection— Instrumentation and control systems
Eligibility Criteria at a Glance
Experience Requirements — Detailed
Candidates must have 5 to 14 years of relevant experience specifically in the Thermal Power Plant industry, with a strong preference for those who have worked on greenfield projects. Experience in supercritical or ultra supercritical technology projects will be a significant advantage.
