Role Overview: What You Will Do
As an Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager – Operations & Maintenance at Rays Power Infra, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functioning of solar power plants, ensuring maximum uptime, performance, and safety compliance.
Key responsibilities typically include:
- Managing the complete O&M lifecycle of solar PV plants — from preventive maintenance scheduling to emergency fault rectification.
- Monitoring plant performance using SCADA systems and identifying deviations from expected energy generation benchmarks.
- Leading a team of engineers and technicians, coordinating shift schedules and upskilling junior staff.
- Liaising with DISCOMs, grid operators, and government bodies for regulatory compliance and grid integration.
- Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly O&M reports and presenting KPIs to senior management.
- Ensuring adherence to safety standards (OSHA, CEA guidelines) across all plant operations.
- Managing AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) with third-party vendors and OEMs for inverters, transformers, and solar modules.
Who Should Apply?

- AB.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering (EE)orElectronics & Communication (EC)from a recognized university.

- Hands-on experience withinverters (string/central), transformers, HT/LT panels, and solar PV system troubleshooting.
- Familiarity withSCADA, DAS, or remote monitoring platformsused in solar energy plants.
- Strongleadership and team management skills— you have led field teams before and know how to get the best out of people on the ground.
- Willingness to be based inJaipur, Rajasthan, or travel to project sites in the region as needed.
- Knowledge ofCEA regulations, MNRE guidelines, and applicable safety standards in the solar sector.
