Key Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveyor at Meinhardt, you will be responsible for:

Quantity Take-offs and Cost Estimation

  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, BOQs (Bills of Quantities), cost estimates, and rate analysis for EPC and DPR of infrastructure projects including Railway stations, Airports, Hospitals, and Institutional buildings
  • Demonstrate proficiency in cost planning and budgeting for both structural and architectural drawings in EPC and DPR building projects

Estimation and Documentation

  • Prepare PAR (Project Appraisal Report), Detailed Estimates, and BOQ as per CPWD DSR and market rate items
  • Review tender documents, technical specifications, and drawings, raising pre-bid queries when necessary

Project Coordination and Management

  • Maintain comprehensive cost databases, rate libraries, and project records
  • Coordinate effectively with design teams, project managers, contractors, and clients for BOQ preparation and estimates
  • Ensure strict compliance with company processes, QA/QC standards, and project requirements

Technical Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, costing, rate analysis, and contract administration
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software including MS Excel, AutoCAD, and Cost X
